Therefore, if you want to be successful, you need to consider how much you are going to offer an investor, and how to structure that offer.

Obviously you want to offer enough to get the investor to want to say yes. Yet, not offer more than you need to.

This decision is also complicated because investors may have different expectations. A family member may be happy with an 8% return and may be suspicious of a 20% return.
